Maintenance - Houston, TX
« on: November 04, 2013, 12:05:04 PM »
Howdy all.  I am wondering if there is anyone in the Houston area that would be interested in helping with a few small maintenance tasks.  I need to change my oil/ final drive oil, and flush brake and clutch fluids.  I am hoping someone has a place where this could be done (just moved here, garage is FULL) and maybe a vacuum bleeder to assist on the brake/clutch.  I have never flushed brakes by myself, so that is what I am most concerned with.  If not, I will take care of it after the room opens up in the garage.  Thanks for looking!

In case you don't have time... or give up... here are a couple places I recommend (used to live in Katy... Houston for close to 30 years)...

http://www.motorcycles-unlimited.com/ on 1960...

http://www.wildwesthonda.com/ (Kawasaki dealer too) Dan should still be the shop manager... was the last time I heard.

If you were on a certain Honda ST bike... I would have a few guys that would be able to help you out.  ;D

You might also check out the Two Wheeled Texans forum... I know a few Houston Connie riders hang out there as well.  ;)

Would be happy to help and I have a Mity-Vac and experience with the brakes. Just a small matter of about 1000 miles to get here.
