Just heard Lou Reed died
« on: October 27, 2013, 01:06:15 PM »
Liver transplant last May I'm sure had something to do with it. Never cared for his music though. Here in Cleveland he's only known for one song. Sad in a way I guess.

What I meant was that for the ballyhoo about the rock hall of fame and how rock and roll started here and was named here and how all the famous folks got their start here and only Cleveland radio played these guys when nobody else did and all the blah, blah, blah. Cleveland radio is maybe the WORST I've ever heard. For the past 25 years if they ever played a Lou Reed song, yes it was that one and that one only. I don't hate the guy, I just listened to different music, I still do. Why do you think they hold the hall of fame induction ceremonies NOT in Cleveland.
