Kawasaki lower gel seat
« on: October 04, 2013, 02:15:24 AM »

Has anyone tried the Kawasaki Lower Gel Seat?  I see it listed on the Kawa parts directory and was curious.  I have a Baldwin seat and love it but even at 6'2" with 34" inseam it seems like a long way to the ground and my seat seems to throw a lot of weight on my wrists even with the bars raised.

Has been discussed several times.  Please use the search function.

I personally dislike gel seats- they are generally hard and are burning up in the summer and freezing in the winter.  There are plenty of "low seat" options that are far better.... for example, the Sargent World Seat low.

I should qualify that I base my objections on other seats.  I have not actually used the *Kawasaki* one, which could be different in some way.  I can't imagine it would be that difference, but I still should have made that clear in my last posting.
