Thanks for the helpful replies. I am going to try to find a good deal on PR2s or PR3s and figure it out from there.

blah, all this tire chatter made me feel like spoonin' off. 

And here is the type spoonin' I'm talking about, tire came right off within the confines of my lunch break ;D

My experience was that they were the same price as just about everyone else but instead of getting my tires the next day it took JW 6 days.

Had my new PR3s put on today and...WOW!  Everything I read about the PR3s transforming the bike's handling is absolutely true. It's almost like getting a new bike! Gotta get some more break in miles on the tires before I can really push on them ;)

Keep in mind that ANY new tires, even crappy ones, will transform the bike when compared to worn-out (flat or scalloped/etc) ones.   Just sayin'
