Emblem question
« on: July 01, 2013, 09:56:40 AM »
Does anyone know how the "Kawasaki" and "Concours 14" emblems are attached to the bike? I'm thinking of removing them. Thanks!

They're just stickers. Search the forum and you can find different ideas for their removal.

I de-badged my bike. I used a heat gun. They get a bit rubbery and are a bit tough to pull off but it worked for me. Use just your fingers and do not use any tool for scraping. I removed some small spots of adhesive that were left behind with a product called Sticker Off.

I've heard of running a piece of fishing line between the tank and the sticky part of the badge to remove it.

As long as it gets returned, your wife's hairdryer is a bit safer than a heat gun.

I like emblems.  In fact, I added more!  I want people to know that it's a Kawasaki and not a  :censored: BMW.

Dental floss also works.
