Surely this way of thinking is just the beginning for Washington State.
This is what happens when you legalize pot. Folks sit around
getting stoned thinking 'innovative' thoughts, but now the dangerous
part.. Legislators are acting on them!
Maybe soon we'll see their public transportation take on a new theme,
and paint the trains and busses like this, Flower Power! (Though, I kinda like it!)

We turned to the gender neutral terms a while back up here in Canada.  Their are no fishermen in Canada, they are 'fishers'.  Yeah, sounds pretty stupid.  I always get screwed up when they start jabberin' on the news about 'fishers' doing something and I just can't get the image out of my mind of a black, furry, forest creature with a bad disposition trying to accomplish what they were just yaking about.

Come up with another term...fisher was already taken!

We had a guy here at work who recently retired, his title was Ombudsman. He's been here longer than I have!

Anyway, they replaced him with a woman and had to change the job title to Ombudsperson.  :o

Stupid or what?
