In CO, we spread that white stuff around from November to April to keep the Turons from FL/TN/TX/CA/WA at bay. Fairly effective.

It's actually kinda nice though, the white stuff, unless you sink up to your nuts in it. Been there, done that, didn't get a shirt.

 Here is winter.....Minnesota style, April 2011


ON that note, 8" of snow in the past week, temps in the 30's and another week of more 30's for high temps and more snow on the way...

It appears much like 2 years ago when we skipped spring all together and went form 33* and 5" of snow the first week of May and then to 94* and 80+% humidity the last week of May....well this year is shaping up very similarly. ughhh

funny you mention that... was going thru boxes of old pics and stuff, and stumbled upon this...
we really didn't get a lot of snow that year, till one 24hour blaster, that dumped almost 48" on us....
december 2001, and we had a pile in the yard till mid april...
I bought a snow blower that day..... 8)
