I bought my system 10 months ago and one exhaust canister was loose going onto the mid pipe so Muzzy was kind enough to repair the broken weld for free. While they had it they noticed it needed repacked and called me to ask me how many miles I had on it and what my riding style was... Well I put about 25k miles on it and ride it like I stole it so that answers that question
They repacked the one they had and sent me the repack hit for the other one which is what I am having so much fun trying to install. I will give them a call today and get some instructions on how to properly install this. I am really glad they told me about it needing repacked because it was really really disinigrated and in dire need of being replaced. The kit is about $35 per side but allot cheaper than replacing a complete carbon fiber can. The difficult part was getting the exhaust cap off cause once you remove the screws the cap still don't just come off cause they use some silicon and needs some serious manipulation to get loose, they told me that sometimes on must use a long wooden dowel from the opposite end pushed threw to have get it off. I'll let you know what they say about installing the packing cause I tried and tried and I seriously doubt I'm going to be able to simply "stuff" it in there.
