I wanna move...
« on: January 16, 2013, 07:26:28 AM »
Looking for a place to move to...

West NC or East TN  Maybe another western states location....TX, CO, WY, ID, NM, MT

Do you have a house for rent or want a house?  I would, in the right circumstance, build a house on your property and will it to you as you/your family the owner at my death.  I would supply you with my building plans and act as a "squatter" with your blessing.

This is not a joke......

Please reply to me via email   Silverdoubles@bellsouth.net    so we can keep this as private as possible....

thanks

If I had won the lotto then you would have a place, but alas, I have not won. I hope it works for you.

If you want somewhere out west, try Ebay for land.  I know there are some sellers not on the up and up, but I have also bought plenty of land on Ebay for very good prices.  Some pretty good lots and some I just bought to buy because they were cheap.  Some of the stuff I got includes 15 acres in Colorado.  It is southern Colorado, but I paid under $5000 for all of it and my taxes are about $100 a year.  I probably will never do anything with it, but my kids can have it later and possibly make a little money from it in 20 or 30 years.  My most recent purchase out west was 40 acres in Wyoming.  Just plain ranchland.  We will hunt it and possibly build a cabin out there.  I paid just under $5000 for that 40 acres.  I always make sure that the deed I receive will be a full warranty deed and I do a little research on each property first by calling the county.  My wife and I have many options now of where to build or one of the rental properties we have bought through ebay.  And knock on wood, I have yet to run into a scam just by doing my research before hand.   Just an idea.

I usually spend the summers in Asheville, NC in perfect weather, back to FL when it gets cold up there.  West NC / East TN ROCKS!

Free Bump... Unintentional lock...

I'm a rural city boy so my property is too small for a squatter no matter how much I like them...

Bummer WA isn't listed.  I may have an idea for you that won't break the bank.  About as country as country gets, extremely conservative area, great hunting, 4 true seasons, 300 days of sun.  Elevated lake view, and a great neighbor ;D

Ms. Silvera I sure wish I didn't live in the city and/or had a place for you.
I think you would like Texas.  And from what I have seen on this site, I think Texans would like you.

Good luck with your plans.

Question though.  In our area, the home and land are one and the same if the home is a permanent structure.  So, if you built on someones land, wouldn't the house be theirs by virtue of the fact that they own the land?

possibly...thus the "squatter" clause... :D   there would be a lot of legalities to work out I'm sure for protection of all parties involved.
