So, I guess I done did it right, huh? Instead of the dealership pocketing 200+ in their profit margin. It cost me about $80 in labor and $3 and change in parts.
Yep, isn't it crazy? Lithium CAN last for up to 10 years with little use. So how much would it have cost them to have included a double cell or triple cell that could push the life up to a decade? $2? $4?
And if your design is going to rely on a shorter life battery, why not at least make it a battery/cover that is easily replaceable?
