I'd like to know how quiet it is compared to my noisy arai and shoei helmets.
Just pulled the pin and ordered a Schuberth C3 modular halmet from Revzilla. At $699 they are not cheap but they are tremendous helmets. I could not believe the difference in weight and quietness from my Nolens, Scorpions, and HJC
I have ridden with a c3 for about a year. Quieter than a shoei standard, very light, Bluetooth sound is excellent (conference calls at 80mph), and sunshade is top notch. I have three of them now for the heads of the family.Highly recommended
Are you exaggerating? I work from home and attend conference calls much of the day!? If you're serious I'm buying. Even if they are at 60 MPH hehe
I ordered a C3 from Revzilla last yr and I really wanted it to work. It just didn't fit my head shape. My jaw was way too big and it was like slamming the luggage shut on the wife's over stuffed suitcase. Also had a pressure spot on the forehead. I went with the Shoei Multitec in the same size. The Neotec wasn't rleased yet. Size large Shoei fits me like a glove like always. The C3 is a fabulous helmet though if it fits you.
...another 300 for the bluetooth functionality....
Not surprising. The Nolan add-on module isn't too far off that price. I'd just buy the radio you want. If the Schuberth has add-on capability, then it'll be pretty easy to get the speakers and mic installed... just not as slick as one that just pops in because Schuberth sells one made it
