Little arrows on one side and big arrows on the the other side contradict which way is correct???
-
The big arrow should have "rotation" or "direction" written inside of it.
Here is a picture to show you a PR2 (basically the same tire).

OK so cannot see the big picture orientation....your arrow is pointing to the rear or back of the bike...right? Guess mine is on back wards then on mine the arrow with the rear points to the front and is on the left side.

- JM , would that be the GIVI rear rack ?
- good ?
.

OK Makz has gone dufus in his old age that and non confident inspiring dealer...my rear tire is installed correctly the confusion for me was the word rear with arrow pointing to the front of the bike....Thanks ZG for the pics.
-
Yes, it's a little confusing with the word "REAR" inside of the arrow. IMHO it should have been "ROTATION" or some other word. I can only persume that "REAR" was used because it's a rear tire. ???

Yes, Givi SR410.
-
.
- "REAR" means don't mount it in the front.
- the "arrow" means the tyre rotates that way.
:)

Yes, but when they are used together ......... ::)
;D
-
Still means the same thing...rotation and fitment.
-
Tires pictured are mounted for correct rotation direction.
-
If you're looking at the back tire from the left side (side the shifter is on), and the arrow is at the 12 o'clock position........ the arrow should be pointing towards the front of the bike.
Now, if the same arrow is at the 6 o'clock position, it should be pointing to the back, (opposite of the front).
:o
-
Regardless of tire direction I just love that all the pics in this thread are black wheels! ;D
Jeremy knows how to roll in style! 8) :chugbeer:

If my watch is digital does that mean the tire rotates counter clockwise?
Should I remount in the other direction if I travel south of the equator? :o

That depends on what side of the bike you're standing on doesn't it?
