There's a decent number of 14's being used in the support groups. Kawa might have a dog in this race

I don't watch it, but have followed it for a long time. They've been using C14's as chase/control/camera bikes for years.

We need more Isle of Man TT.....less Tour De France IMHO. ;)

:chugbeer: absolutely... I love me some TT action.

Watch it every morning. Alot of the riders will be in the Olympics also.
Good showing of the C14 but not being used to its full potential

"not being used to its full potential"
it's like using the USS Nimitz to carry tourists through the big lakes... ???
But yeah, we need more Guy Martin one liners... meanwhile, Pokey helps. ;)

If your looking for a nice stable platform for the camera guy on the back but still nimble to get around I would think the C14 is a great choice.
-
I sincerely hope the camera guy isn't sitting on the stock plastic rack which is only good to hold a sandwich that's light on the mayo...

I've worked in the bicycle industry for 30yrs and was National Team and racing full time a long, long time ago. In July I'm glue to the tube.
The moto drivers must go through many years and many steps before they are allowed to be part of something like the TdF. In the Tour of California several pro bicycle race moto drivers come over from Europe. I remember watching a moto with the photographer standing as they descended Decker (one of the most technical descents in the Santa Monica Mountains) and they were flying. I regularly chase and sometimes pass sport bikes on this downhill, it's tight. When a team on a moto have worked together for a while they are amazing to watch.
