Just would like to know if a zx-14 corbin seat will fit a 2008 concours 14.
-
Yes, you just need to swap over the mounting hardware from underneath the seat and it will work.

From what I have seen in other postings, the answer is "yes". Also, the gen1 and gen2 Concours 14's use identically laid-out seats (only the color panels were changed to all-black).

Yes. When I bought my Sargent they flat out told me they are the same except the one piece of hardware underneath.

I thought I remembered seeing somethign abotu the Corbin hardware being tough to remove without going under the seat cover and foam???
The rear bracket is no big deal as the zx14 bracket can be bent to fit our c14's. The center, though, would need to be swapped over. So, for any seat, really, the pan will switch over, but you need access and the ability to change over the center brackets. I dotn think theres any way to modify a zx14 bracket to fit.

The rear bracket is not the problem with the Sargent, it's the center. On the Sargent it just screws on from the bottom. I think it would actually be okay if you didn't even have the center bracket, but disclaimer...I've never actually tried it. It does make the Sargent a pain in the butt to take on and off.

My sargent low fits really well. It is the c14 model, though. The base is not a perfect fit and needs a slight amount of wiggling to fit, but when it does its very secure as compared to even the stock seat.

I find it *VERY* difficult to get the Low Sargent seat on and off. Once it is one, it is very secure, however. I tried adjusting things and nothing helped much. Fortunately, it is very rare I ever remove it.

I have a corbin canyon seat that was made for the ZX-14 on my 09 C-14 fits just fine, no mods, snaped right on. it's going up for sale...
