MG..... you really are proud of that centerstand arent you?

Again with the center stand video? ::)

Again with the center stand video? ::)

PS.Ugo traduci...Gazie.. :D

I provide a translation interpreting Valerio's thoughts, hopefully in the right way: :D
"You too will be proud (happy) owning and using such a stand when made available by an industrial manufacturer: you'll buy it even for your bicycle!
Thus, showing again a good project shouldn't bother anybody.
Moreover... I (easily) operated the stand while wearing the flip-flops!"

I bet Jay will never screw around with his bike again in flip-flops.... :chugbeer: :rotflmao:

I want one. Now. :o
-
nice,
But watching made realize....
I would like have one with lockable casters(wheels).
So I could spin the bike around easier while on the center stand.
Once I pull into the one car garage, full of other toys. :-)
While I suppose I can spin it as is, if I really want to.
It seems like it would really scar the floor.

Garage con mattonelle non occorre mettere ruote al cavalletto è come se le avesse.

I have one of these and it makes moving the biker around the garage effortless.

OP, nice solution but I have friends that scoot my scoots around :D
I miss the one right after i got my ZX14. But she's not the same one that helped me put the PC and Brock's full system on it

Steve: I can "help" her help you... but it'll take a few minutes and you'll have to wait outside.

I gotta get me one of these. ;D

Well Steve, if you had given her some food once in a while , she wouldn't have died on you.

As for Don MGvalerio, start making and selling these wonderful things or :-X.
I'll get beat to death with the same thing over and over if there is some new information each time,
like maybe some dimensioned detailed drawings or a video tour of your shop and tooling where you made this stuff..
....but otherwise, enough already. :deadhorse:
If you are waiting for praise and adulation, OK it's here: Your front brake lock is ingenious and wonderful, I would love to have one. The lock for the Center stand is great too. The center stand itself is not bad. If more of my parking places were made of concrete instead of gravel and asphalt, then I might want one. The 360 degree camera mount is also fantastically so-so.
You are a motorcycle engineering genius. ( How'd I do? Was it enough?)
Please start wearing gloves and boots and full length pants (I'll just assume that you always ride wearing a helmet) when
you ride your most excellently modified C14.
ugocon: Thank you!!!.... if you could please reverse the process for the Don MG'? Thanks.

I'm afraid this is an endless battle... :banghead:
Valerio will NEVER accept that someone is doing things better... better??? ...even "as good as" he does! ;D
I tell you one thing: I helped Valerio to evaluate the possibility to sell his stuff to you guys in US.
Unfortunately, since the volumes involved are not relevant, the supplier Valerio is using charges a price that is good in Italy, acceptable in EU but not competitive in US, this due to shipment and taxes to be paid. :(
Anyway I try to say something to Valerio, as per the above request.... :battle:
Ciao

Wow, as I have gotten older I always have problems getting a bike up on the center stand.

There is a pill for that, but you might not be able to get it down for up to 4 hours. ;D

Read the description. :) I said "2 fingers on each hand."
This is from the right side of the bike. It's much harder to do from the wrong side.
Mind you, I was kidding around. I think this center stand is pretty ingenious.

But it is terrific engineering.

So maybe he could sell us plans? Sell pdf files over the internet? A detailed dimensioned drawing of the front brake lock
might generate some money. Or maybe a DVD (playable in all zones) showing how to make it.
Paypal would get a cut, maybe 4%. Just a thought that something might come out of this besides chuckles, rolling eyes and
dead beat up horses.

At the risk of starting a sh*t storm, I am interested in obtaining a front brake lock feature.
I have little kids around sometimes and would feel better with less chance of the bike falling off the side stand due to the bike being bumped, no matter that it is in 1st gear.
All it would take is once, you know!

Until it's available (maybe after the sh*t storm ;D ) take a vacuum cleaner belt (the older ones with the round cross section, not the newer flat ones) put it around the bar end and then twist the belt enough times (3-4?) until it will hold the brake when slipped over the end ball. When not in use just let it ride over the clutch reservoir, mine seems to stay put there pretty well. I'd still park it in gear as well. I'll post a video of it as soon as I get an Italian/English dictionary. ;)

Is there a wrong side side-stand mounted to make this practically necessary? LOL

Thanks, Marty. Do I need an Italian vacuum cleaner belt, or will an old Hoover do? ;)
-
Neither Italian nor Hoover...
You need a perfect German belt by Mìele, the most expensive vacuum around! (besides Vorwerk Kobold, Folletto in Italy, but that's pure robbery! ;) )
Mìele resembles BMW to me: highest price for just a "supposed" higher quality 8)
