After getting caught in some 31* weather for about 3 hours at 80 mph recently I decided to explore some heated gear.
I am looking at running gloves and jacket liner controlled with a dual semi mount heat troller. The physical size of the heat troller leads me to believe that I can velcro mount it under the electrical controls (flat spot) on the left side of the handlebars.
My questions is, for those that have done this install on their C-14, where are you popping out with your wires to connect to your liner?
I am looking for a very clean install. I currently have a input jack for my earbuds that sit between the tank and the front edge of the seat. I guess I could run the two output wires there, but am looking for other options that would allow easy access, but also someplace they could be tucked away when not in use.

I have my battery tender lead tucked into the lower fairing, you could use the same spot if the lead to your jacket is long enough.

It looks like they sell extensions, but I worry about the wire flopping around in the wind with a long run from the lower fairing to the input. I hate when my ear buds wire is flopping around. I could only imagine that coax extension banging on the bike! :)

I have my dual Gerbing heat troller Velcroed and zip tied to the top of my clutch reservoir. The hookup leads run down the left handlebar by the key switch. I use coiled extension cords.
Works great and the controls are easy to see and adjust.

I attach my heatroller to my tank bag with velcro. The power lead comes out the bottom edge of the battery door. The same lead is used to connect my battery tender.

Same here, then there are so many options for power cord =)
