I just got back from a day a Jason Pridmore's Star Motorcycle School with my "Turtle", as my daughter calls it. I was amazed at what the old girl can do (09 Concours). It could still take far more than what I was asking of her, but man to be able to blast through some of those corners was amazing considering her size. The class was a spectacular blend of rockets, cruisers, a Triple, and the lone Concours, me.
I don't have to speak for her straight away, we all seem to understand, I was able to keep up with the best of them...until the corners (my confidence, not the bike was holding me back). I recommend that anyone who has a bike, take the opportunity to get to a class such as Jason's. I feel significantly more confident it what I can do, but more specifically what this spectacular CONCOURS can do.
Pictures will follow as soon As I get access from the photographer. By the way, I went on a two up ride with Jason on a Gixxer 1000, :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: Couldn't tell if I was dying or shooting a load. I cannot believe what he can do on a bike, much less two-up!

That sounds like loads of fun! I'd sure love do do a class like that but seldom have the time these days. I think I'd be wearing every single piece of crash gear I owned if I was riding on the back with an expert sport track driver! But that's just me. ;D
Please DO get us some photos soon. ;)

More than I needed to know. ;D

I would keep that to myself since you were riding two up with another dude. :o

I did both Jason's and Reg's classes back when I lived in Denver... For all you younger guys... Reg is Jason's father and was reigning AMA Superbike champion from 1976-78. The '76 title being won on a BMW R90. Doing the two-up ride with both was amazing. The funniest thing I remember from the classes was that Jason would tell all the trackrats that this was a school and not a competition. Most did not listen... Until the were "schooled" by the instructors on their SV650's. Not much is more humbling (or amusing) than having one of the instructors (on their massive SV650's) take a trackrat in tow (on his trailered track only bike).

That's a good idea with this bunch of guys. ;)

Do you have the pics yet?
-
Got the receipt of payment, so hopefully the Photo CD is in the mail.

Man you think you are leaning until you see the pics.
-
To bad we cannot see the look on your face on the back of that bike.
-
When I paid for my ride like that. The look was shock and awe! It's not just the lean angle! He accelerates faster, brakes later and is amazingly smooth.
-
Looks like it was still lots of fun!
You look a little cramped on the back of the other bike though. :D

Cannot remember if I was screaming from fear or joy... ;D
