Title: New windshield
Post by: quickwilly on May 12, 2012, 02:19:58 PM
Just picked up a new windshield from ZG. its the Kawasaki version with the 3 1/3" over stock. Wind noise has been reduced by about 50% and i'm Liking it. When the rains start back up here in the PNW, will have to see if rain protection is just as good.

Thanks for the Hook up Jay  8) 8) 8)

and for those of you that have a Corbin trunk... yes the stock screen will JUST fit.

Right on Will, I'm glad you stopped by the house today bro, and glad to hear that you're liking the new shield already! Oh and by the way I just finally finished pressure washing the deck 9 hours later...  :'(

I myself was totally shocked that after we removed your stock 09 shield that you fit in your Corbin trunk for the ride home!!  :o
That's sweet man!

Oh and by the way, welcome to this forum bro, we're glad to have ya! Check out that thread on the upcoming 08/09 canyon cages!  :chugbeer:

Oops...bad etiquette on my part.

Noticed that I have been riding it in the fully down position, even at highway speed (70-80  ::) ) the wind protection is still pretty substantial. Sitting at 6' i'm pretty happy with it.

BTW Jay.... you made me go home and clean the crap outta the rest of the bike  >:( >:( that new shield looked too pretty siting on the rest of the mess.

Yes I'm gunna say it, the Kawasaki Tall is my favorite shield.
I have the stock shorty, CeeBailey Euro tinted, and CalSci 6+
For solo rides, nothing beats the shape and look of that Kawi tall.
Plus I have been very careful cleaning it and she's still crystal clear.

Now for two up rides, you can't beat the ginormous size of the CalSci 6, but man does it scratch like a mother.

I love the tined CeeBailey but the plastic is so thick, it shakes like crazy over the tiniest of bumps.
