Wow - these two combined make for a phone mount that is super adjustable and very sturdy. It sits up so high, you don't have to look too far down to see it. I have an HTC EVO 4G that I use for GPS and everything else and I'm amazed how well this worked out. Using only the stuff that came with the ram mount, I was able to attach it to the $19 cam mount and now I've got functional arm that holds the phone high and tight with no worries of it popping off (under normal usage of course). No interference with the handle bars and still under the cost of the other shiny ones. I know, it's not for everyone but if you have a similar size phone and use for GPS, this works GREAT!

Interesting mount if you're not running a tank bag. What's the pouches on the bars marked Denali?

I have to say this location is a bad idea. i had my GPS mounted between my handlebars and stopped using it. I was too tempted to glance down at it while riding. Taking the eyes off the road can result in some interesting moments. If I ever get the thing remounted it is going up high, like on a brake reseviour so I can sort of see it and keep an eye focused on the road. Technology is great if it does not distract you while doing the primary task of looking and planning for weird s%#@.

Don't even remember where I got those things (pouches), thew em on one day and liked the look (for now). "I keep my weed in it"; which is why GPS location / distractions don't matter :rotflmao:. I have 2 bikes and barely ride one, when I do I don't go very far, to work and back, 1-2 times a week so no need for bags or extra storage. Thanks guys for the comments.
