Who makes the best brake line kits for our bike?
-
I'm still running the oem lines on my Connie, but I've always run the spiegler lines on all my other bikes, excellent quality and fit!

+1.
Galfers are OK but the "banjo bolts" and brass flat washer need extra torque to stop the fluid from weeping at the joint. My friends use Spiegler mon their bikes and they seem to work well.

Went to the spiegler web site and only shows connie to 2007.
So no C14 brake lines?
-
My 2009 came with steel lines and has excellent feel, no mush at all. I kinda doubt that they could be improved on.

My 2010 did not, and it feels quite mushy.

I am pretty sure the OEMs are steel coated lines. They are quite good.

Maybe that was a change for 2010 then. I'm quite certain mine are standard rubber lines. I had nice OEM steel braided lines on the Beemer. Those felt rock solid.

Did you try calling them TG? They will and do custom make lines for any bike, I had them do this for one of my bikes awhile back. Worth a shot, they're quality is superb IMO...

I like the HEL line that is out there. Don't have a kit for the Concours but for all lines including the clutch they said would be around $931 . Mind you that is for the '10 ABS model with linked braking, lots of lines. Plus if you are daring, you got lots of colors to chose from. I think I would probably opt for the translucent red, hey Blanton it would finish off your masterpiece! 8)
