Title: ECU reFlash question ...
Post by: Bagger on May 21, 2011, 06:09:18 PM

I'm not all that savvy with electrical stuff .... or, most things mechanical on a motorbike.  I admit this.

But, I'm going to attempt to pull the ECU from my 2010 and send it to Dynotronics for a reFlash.

Fred has the photos of what to look for and how to do such.  My question is ... which cable on the battery should I pull?  Positive or negative?  Or, does it matter.

TIA

Having arc'd a wrench to the frame of a 48V aircraft Towmotor, I will tell you it is much less eventful on a negative grounded system to pull the negative terminal first. (Insulated tools are nice too).
