Are there any brands of brake pads out there that are better value or will outperform OEM stock Kawasaki parts for a 01 C10? I am not quite ready for a set yet but it would not hurt to have the parts ready when I need them.
I did not find much with the search engine on this.

You might want to check murph's http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_29_30_122 (http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_29_30_122)
I use the EBC Sintered Metal front and back but on a new bike Kawasaki put Kevlar on the rear, kevlar just don't last as long.

I would look to the new EBC FA129V front and FA85V rear pads. The "V" series pads offer the braking feel of an organic pad, while lasting like a sintered pad...and being less abrasive on the rotors.

i like what is said about the V pads there. Here is the list I made, and yes, my research shown that sintered is the way to go:
VESRAH VD 427
BREMBO 07KA0933
CL BRAKES 2304
EBC FA.129HH
GALFER FD 090
LUCAS MCB569
NEWFREN .FD.0108
SBS 597

That's exactly what I was looking for. I will look into the EBC HH and V series brakes.
Murph's seems to have a very good reputation around here and their prices look to be as good as about anyone on the web.
Great stuff!
