Hey all,
I'm removing my front brake line, and I've got a quick question. There are 3 little line guides snapped into the front fender. They are split at the bottom, but are quite firmly attached. Is there a trick to getting them off, or do I have to bite the bullet and remove the fender so I can squeeze the backs of the guides and push them out?
They're a little over $5 each, I'd prefer not breaking them...
TIA

Mal you're right they're a royal PITA. I ended up removing the fender, broke one anyway and just left them off.

You may be able to use a very small quarter inch socket to compress the halfs and they'll pop out. Or you could fiddle a bit with a small screw driver while alternately pulling at the same time. I left mine off.

Pinch the hoop part and roll one way or the other, idea is to compress the ends inside the fender creating enough space for the tail ends to pass each other. Piece of cake :)

That worked very well! I did have to take the hair dryer to it to warm it up a bit, but when I rolled it one side popped right out, allowing the other side to come out with ease...
Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I really do appreciate it.
