You might get muck from wet roads etc getting up in the lock easier though... :-\

Post by: OCK913 on March 13, 2012, 06:38:28 PM: I was in Daytona on Saturday and stopped at the Givi tent. I was really close to pulling the trigger on a new Givi, but didnt do it. Compared to my $70 JC Whitney box, that Givi 55 is a piece of art. But for as little time as the trunk spends on my bike, I just cant justify it. I will just sit back and admire those of you that have them.

That is what I could not put my finger on, lol. I had the E55 previously, it is between your style or the Shad50 which I have had as well. I thought the Shad was a nicer functioning trunk and you could leave it unlocked and secure on the bike. It also has a backrest factory but the blacked out E55 is making it hard.
