First time I saw this V-Stream windscreen swap. How does the V-Stream differ from the stock 2011 windscreen and do the holes line up for an exact swap?
-
Exact swap, is higher at full rise and has channels to move the wind.
-
Best farkle I've added, no buffeting when all the way up, and clean air when all the way down
-
But it's UGLY! ;)
At it really flops around at speed, especially if you're behind anything else. When I tried the test windows, I just really didn't like the VS.
-
It definitely has a little wiggle to it. What surprises me is it dances more w/ the shield all the way down. After an hour I didn't even notice it.
-
My V-Stream flops around in high winds and while in the wake of a truck or car, but so did the Cee-Bailey Euro. I am 6'0 and I get buffetting in the helmet when the shield is in the full up position. The only way to get rid of the buffetting on the C-14 is to get the tallest windshield available which I think is the Cee-Bailey Ultra. I accept the buffeting as one the costs of riding a motorcycle and I prefer the V-stream over the CB.

Anyone have pictures of the V-stream on the Concours? Thanks.

That's sort of a primitive way to get rid of buffeting. My cal sci has no buffetting and I attribute that to the large cut out i the front. This is also noticeable by the large reduction in noise. With stock shield (I have an '11) I could not hear the blue tooth in my Oneal helmet above 55mph (main reason why I got the shield) , now with the Cal Sci, I can easily hear my music without turning the volume up.
Also, the shield is solid, actually appears to be slightly thicker than oem.

Just got the brand new, not on their website yet, calsci. It's the "new" large size, but it is at least 4 inches wider than oem. It should be on their website in the next few weeks, can't wait to try it out, it replaced my VS.

How did you get one if it is not on their site.
