Ok, so I enjoy having clean air on my helmet when its warm and none when its not. I'm 6'1" and usually have a pillion on long trips.
When I tried two up riding, we get this weird "coupling effect" that buffets our heads in synch.
I'm using the factory sheild now, and I'm wondering which of the great choices would be the best one to try.

What year is your bike? The 08-09 had a shorter stock windscreen than the 10+. I have an '09 and think the stock shield is great for the summer. California Scientific is the only company I know of that makes one shorter than the stock one. It's called the Tinted Shorty. I also have their Large shield for the colder weather and if I put the shield all the way up the air just grazes the top of my helmet. The XL size would probably put it completely above me. I'm also 6'1" and riding on the stock seat with no handlebar risers. The Vstream and Cee Bailey seem to be the other popular choices around here. Do some searching and you'll find lots of windshield threads.

One of the nice things about the CalSci line of windshields is the cutout in the center that reduces or eliminates back pressure on the rider. It works very well and surprisingly does not put any appreciable rain on the rider.
I have the tallest version CalSci <used> to make and it really isn't tall enough. The new XL versions are a bit taller than the originals and would probably be tall enough for you and a passenger.

I have an 08 with V-stream. The only problem is at high speeds it can get a little floppy. It has never been an issue. I wish I still had my OEM to put back on in summer so I could get little more air in summer.

Regardless of what you choose you may be swapping shields back and forth if you prefer clean air on your shield when solo. I run the V Stream during the winter and the stock 08-09 shield cut down for summer. As Brian mentioned the Cal-Sci has a cutout in the screen to neutralize the "push" that is common to many larger screens that do not have this feature. I myself cut holes in my V Stream that have the same effect and have made the screen comfortable for me. I don't believe the V Stream is tall enough for two up riding without some buffeting though. I suppose much of that will depend on the stature of your companion.

If you're going to replace your seat, do it before replacing the wind screen (if you haven't done so already). You'll end up messing around with the screen again if you do it before your seat. ;)

I am very happy with my CB Eurotour. My wife is just about ecstatic! I am 5'11" and just about at the limit for higher speed riding.
With the shield down there is obviously wind on my upper body, buy it is smooth and not at all uncomfortable. This is how I ride solo.
***A well designed shape is as important as the size!*** CB made aircraft windscreens long before they started making screens for bikes. Their aerodynamic experience really shows.
Other posters have commented on pressure relief cutouts in the screens. This is already incorporated into the Kawa design (notice the fact that the lower part of the shield does not sit tight to the fairing and that there is also a vent.) After market builders should design for this. (On even a stock shield the low-pressure ears is adequately managed. Most of the good aftermarket units use this feature.

I am happy with the '10+ OEM windshield on my '09 bike. It is a bit taller than OEM '08 and '09 shield, and in the fully extended position I can just see over the top of it.

I think I'll take the advice of sherob and wait till I get the new seat installed and tested.

Hey, Flat, the two shields going around are a V-Stream and a Cal Sci Medium.
I liked the CS Medium. It's just a tad bit higher and wider than the 10+ stock. Personally, I don't want a big sail on mine and the CS Medium might just be it. I'd like to be able to try a Cee Bailey before deciding though.

For clean air you need to remove the shield. Just take it off. Removes all helmet buffeting. I use a mini euro in the summer, it's close to stock height but wider; but it still buffets single or double.

I liked the CS Medium. It's just a tad bit higher and wider than the 10+ stock. Personally, I don't want a big sail on mine and the CS Medium might just be it. I'd like to be able to try a Cee Bailey before deciding though.

I have ridden C14s outfitted with Vstream and Kawasaki extended sheilds. Preferance: kawasaki. Its cheaper, covered just as well for my heigth 5-11 on a Cordin saddle. Bolt hole pattern is a direct match. V-Stream doesn't intigrate well if you use bar risers. V-Stream MSRP: $199.99 vs Kawasaki MSRP: $106.95

No issues with visibility, it's the euro mini, I look over it not through it even when in the full up position.

It's the CB euro mini cut.
The hand wind deflectors in that pic are the ones from Motax.
