Tyre pressure sensors, in MY 2007/2009 / Others have tried to change our battery, although the sensor is sealed, I believe it is possible to do this.
My GTR 1400 ABS after 4.5 years from now I receive display in the formation of dead batteries.
Who can give me info.
MGvalerio. :D

My dealer told me that battery has a 5 year warranty on it. You might check with your dealer. Also I heard, but not sure, that the newer units have replaceable batteries.

Does that mean that the warranty covers the part but not the labor replacing the sensor?

IF the dealer is going to replace the sensor under warranty, the labor should be covered too.

Not true, the part about the stockers having replaceable batteries that is. Unless the latest '12s have this change.

Seems like mama-kawi should have put user-replaceable batteries in there and then added a task to replace batteries every 2 years or every time the tires are changed. Mine is popping on now (since it's colder out) and even though the warning does turn off eventually, it would be nice if it didn't come on.

Just got my '09 rear sensor replaced under warranty - no questions asked. Took about hour and a half or so. They probably could've done it quicker, but it was lunch hour and the dealer serivce shop was very busy, plus I didn't exactly make an appt. Besides, spending 1-1/2hrs on a Victory/Triumph/Kawasaki/Suzuki dealer showroom floor was not exactly torture. ;D
