Patriots but of course! The only reason I picked the Giants today was because of the way the niners treated Montana. I tend to hold a grudge, can ya tell?

I hear ya on holding a grudge SoP, I use to root for the Pack until they pushed Farve out, then I rooted against em, just seemed wrong to me. I'll propably do the same for Colt's if they push Petton out too... Maybe I'm just too loyal. :-\

With ya on the Packs as well, heck, I still refuse to use an Exxon station. I aint figured out why I watch even one Seahawk game, I reckon it's because I like the underdog angle.

Having a lot of family from Long Island and just outside the city in Connecticut, I have been a long time Giants fan. So of course I am pulling for the G-men. Although if they play like they did last night (not that they did bad), NE is going to run all over them. And I don't foresee NE making the mistakes that SF did that gave the Giants the win.

Yes, the Superbowl is like a holiday at my house. Good times, good food, beer, and freinds, love it! :)

I'm going to be pulling for the Patriots just because a co-worker's son in on the team.

Who wants to bet during the run up to the game a bunch of so called pundits will be saying this really won't be a Super Bowl because both teams are on the east coast?

as much as I HATE the Giants, I hope they win, I can't stand the Patriots. Last time they were in the Superbowl, I was rooting for the Giants and was happy that they won. No one thought they'd win, aside from me. Hah.

Being a Giants fan, I thought they would win. Enough that I put a good chunk of money on the game. And since the odds were way against the Giants to win, when they did, I ended up winning pretty close to $14K. The odds are a little closer to even this time.

I don't remember the exact amount, but I know it was under $4K. The odds were really good that year.

I will put something down this year too. Odds aren't as good this year so even if the Giants win, I won't be making as much. And the wife and I just bought another house (short sale so we haven't officially bought it, but in the process of waiting for seller's bank to approve our offer). So I can't risk as much this year.
