Repost from my rebuild thread to make it easier for a search.
I got the Muzzy installed today, and it looks great........ to me. I was pleasantly surprised that the exhaust came with an O2 bung already on it. There is no mid pipe mount and the muffler mount was done by making an offset bracket. All in all it was fairly simple. My biggest problem was getting the exhaust gaskets to stay put. I ended up using a dab of grease to hold them while I slid the header into place (hopefully it won't smoke for to long ;D). Here is a picture of the bracket that I made.
Total weight savings is about 24 pounds compared to the stock exhaust (including the header).

Plenty of room between the can and the pannier.

Congrats on losing the stock header Jeremy, I think you're gonna like this setup, Muzzys make quality exhausts IMO.
I really like carbon cans, they look great and are nice and cool to the touch, which mama likes... 8)
Are you doing a custom map on a PCV or ??

The can says "MUZZY" so that is why I don't call it "Muzzys".

I reached out to SOP for a map that has been tweaked by his auto tune that way I will be in the ballpark and it shouldn't take to long to be in the sweet spot. I am also doing a switch for the autotune that way I can go from the Fuel Moto map to "fuel sipper" mode on long trips.

Soon they'll be a beautiful shade of blue.

That looks great! One of My projects on the drawing board is to build My own header to use with My Area-P can. I like the looks of that one.
