Hi .
How many people with 08 bikes still have the OEM battery??I have not had any trouble with the bike except the tps were replace one time and are acting up now in the cold weather. I dont know if i should change the batt in the spring or not i see on here a lot of people have had a lot of trouble with the Battery!! I only have 15000 on the bike because i got hurt at work the past summer.

Are you talking about the main battery or the batteries in the TPS?

I have an 08 with about 32.5k miles on it. I still have the original battery with no problems. Knock, knock. I imagine it will need replacing fairly soon though.

I have an 09 and I keep it on the battery tender when it is not moving. I just ordered a new battery for my 04 Goldwing just because it is 8 years old. The battery bug still shows 65% and it will go into alarm at 10%.
My BMW car battery I replaced after 9 years. That is the longest I ever got out of a battery. It also stayed on a battery tender all the time.
I believe in battery tenders for extended life. My daily driver: new battery 3-4 years (Not on battery tender)

I hate to think about how much money I have saved since becoming addicted to Battery Tenders.

I have an 08 which I picked up in July of 07. The main battery and the TPS batteries are still original.

I have an '08 and have the original battery. In fact, I have an '05 Goldwing also on the original battery. I use battery tenders (generic term, different brand).

I have a '08 bought new 5/09. I still have the original battery, no problems. I use a battery tender over the winter months (Dec - Feb) and if I"m not riding the bike for at least a week the rest of the year. If I'm riding I don't hook up the tender every day like some do.
