Why, Brian, why????

How about one made of wood... eh Jim... ;)

;D ;D ;D ;D So much information was lost in the crash.....
Ah yes, I think Jim's choice in fine tire- wood might be Amboyna Burl from Southeast Asia..... but that is just a guess.
Amboyna Burl from Southeast Asia also makes a fine fob- storing wood as well. In fact, that is what Kirby uses to hold his nuts too.

He is getting ready for a CC in a coupla weeks. Me thinks the stress of western routes has him worried about finding tires so he wants a set that will do 30000 miles ;) I mean, he was concerned if stations stayed open after 5pm :o

Just a quick question there Jim, what is it about burls you find attractive?
This is a photo I found of a couple of burls in the crotch of a tree. I don't know what to think about the whole thing now....

Nope, not interested in using a car tire, just wanted to be the first to bring up the topic and thread here on the 'new' forum. Stirring the pot but it didn't seem to generate much interest. No problem though, we still have KiPass.... in fact, I am going to post about that right now!
