Title: Are there any Techmount systems that work well with the C-10?
Post by: Bradley14 on November 12, 2011, 04:16:26 PM
I'm new to the C-10 world, did not see any extra space on the bars for techmount bracket.

I know the C-14s have the center mounted system.

Any C-10 riders using a techmount?

There's no extra space on the bars for anything on a C10.   ;D

Looking at the Techmount website, I see a few possibilities, but I don't know what might or might not work.  The mirror mounts would bolt on, as the C10 has standard 10mm mounts, but would probably hit the dashboard when you turned the front wheel.  A stem mount might work if you drilled a hole in the ignition switch cover to allow access to the steering head stem, but would be in the way of your keys.

The Techmount Control Mount #3-31001 comes with spacers and will mount using the mounting blots for switch modules on each handle bar.

Also, I've been using a RAM-B-309-1U (also RAM-B-309-1) to hold the GPS and XM-Radio.
