Anybody done it? Feed back?

The c14 seat is a lot more comfortable. I have heard of zx14 owners changing to the c14 seat. You have to swap the mounting brackets, thats all. Thats was the only draw back to my zx was the hard seat.

I'm used to a corbin on another bike so harder is better for me. I think the ZX14 seat has more fore to aft room instead of sitting against the bump.

The ZX-14 seat has less padding, so you will sit closer to the ground. This is an affordable alternative for the vertically challenged. There are usually a few available on ebay.
It is only the center mounting "hooks" that differ from the C-14 seat and have to be swapped.

Fedex drop my zx seat on a saturday morning, try it out for a few minutes, sold it in the afternoon to a nother member here! I found the seat very uncomfortable, it push me to the bars, and very hard no way i can ride on that seat! I'm 5.5 and yes the ZX seat felt lower!

i love mine. have room to move around. comfortable on 800 mile day rides

Unfortunately, seat comfort is very subjective. That's why every forum thread about seats has supporters and detractors. I just had Spencer's re-vamp my seat and it's a lot better, but still not perfect. Some love the Corbin, some hate it. Some love the Sargent, some hate it. Some love the Kawi gel, some...well you get the idea. :)
I guess it's true what they say...There's a saddle to fit every a$$.

I've done it. Also put a connie seat on my 14. like others have mentioned, simple bracket swap.
The 14's seat is a measured 3/4" drop, with less but, fimer foam. If you like to move around a bit (body transition in corners), you would like the seat. If you like a softer seat that keeps you a little more stationary, you would probably be better off with the connie seat.

This is closer to what I need. I will try a Corbin if I get a chance, I will not order it without some seat time on one. If I could get a ZX 14 seat cheap enough, I could try it and free up my C 14 seat to send out for mods.

Does this seat make my ass look big?
:rotflmao:

one unintended result of the ZX14 seat was it cramped my legs cuz of the lower seat height.......not to mention i found the thing hideously uncomfortable.....but seat comfort is very subjective.....

The lower seat height would be a problem.

That's definitely going to require some special custom work.

I have one in great condition. Shipping to you is probably 30 bucks insured. As long as I get a B. Franklin in my pocket you can have it.
