Title: Tweaking clutch adjuster
Post by: George R. Young on November 11, 2011, 02:41:44 PM
Even with the 4 position adjustment, the clutch lever on my 2001 Concours only changed from 'Much Too Far' to 'Slightly Too Far' from the grip. It was particularly irritating when wearing cold weather gauntlets because the palm padding moves your hand further from the lever.

So I filed the adjuster nub that pokes into the clutch adjuster about 2mm shorter, and dremelled its tip round again.

Vast improvement. Free!

Nice! Obviously, it still has enough throw to operate the clutch cylinder?

More than enough.

And it only took me 8 years to figure it out.
