Back in the day 1981.
Easily the most beautiful aircraft ever built. :stirpot:

Thanks. To all of you veterans.

Thank you every one. From one Army vet to all other vets: Thanks for everything. 8)

A big "Thank you" to all the Vets who came before me. I appreciate seeing people that remember that this isn't just a day for a parade and some shopping sales.

Army vet here.
Thank you to all who have served and who are now serving. A special thank you to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and to their families.

Is it a B-36 Peacemaker?
Close, it's an RB-36. My dad was a crew chief on one of those.

I just got back from the Veterans Day ceremony here at work. As always it was touching and very well done, even brought tears to mine eyes. In years past they had someone with a very good voice sing the National Anthem. Not so this year, the tears that I mentioned weren't just for the poignant reminder of the great sacrifice that some have given...

True enough...

I just finished my free lunch at Applebee's :)
