 Back in the day 1981.
 Easily the most beautiful aircraft ever built.  :stirpot:

A big "Thank you" to all the Vets who came before me.  I appreciate seeing people that remember that this isn't just a day for a parade and some shopping sales.

Close, it's an RB-36. My dad was a crew chief on one of those.

I just got back from the Veterans Day ceremony here at work. As always it was touching and very well done, even brought tears to mine eyes. In years past they had someone with a very good voice sing the National Anthem. Not so this year, the tears that I mentioned weren't just for the poignant reminder of the great sacrifice that some have given...

I just finished my free lunch at Applebee's    :)

Thanks Applebee for recognizing the vets and here is hoping all current soldiers return home safely

My wife and I are going there for dinner, a beer and a free burger for me. I just gotta dig out my DD214.
