Getting my son a back pack for riding to school. Any one have any experience with this one?

I had the same one in orange and ended up selling it since I like my camalbak better. I wrapped a high vis PT belt around it to meet the 75 square inch rule for riding on Ft Leonard Wood. There was nothing wrong with the icon but I just didn't have enough room to carry my PT gear and lunch, my motherlode bag holds quite a bit more, even though I don't need a bag now that I have saddlebags.

Jeremy, will rhe icon hold say a 3 ring binder, a textbook, lunch, and a laptop? Really digging the hi viz to make him stand out. What camelback back do you have?

duh...motherlode...thx Jeremy.

It would be tight squeeze but it should work ok. I had enough room for summer PT gear and lunch, but when I needed to bring a jacket and pants I ran out of room.

Will,
I understand about the back-pack for storage, what confuses me is that you also want it to be Hi-Viz. No problem with rear visability with a back-pack, but what about the front and sides?
If improving his visability is one of your goals, isn't a Hi-Viz jacket along with a Hi-Viz bp a better combination ?
Just curious here, and since I don't know if he already has a HV jacket, I just thought I'd ask.
Ride safe all, and please, ATGATT.

My son and I both where hi-viz vests all the time. ATGATT. If he puts a black back pack on he loses alot of his hi viz from the back...thats why I was eye ballin this bag that is hi-viz in the back as well.
my 16 year old son rockin the Connie.
