I'm looking for personal experience with aftermarket heated grips. I had some budget ones on my cruiser, but they didn't seem to work very well. Anyways, I want something with good and consistent heat output that has a temperature control which can be mounted easily (by drilling a hole or whatever).

I have Oxford grips and they work great. Four levels of selectable heat, only $60 (on ebay) and easy installation made them an easy choice for me.

I've got Hotgrips and love em.

I put Show Chrome heated grips on my Valkyrie and loved them. I have no idea if the make the right size for the C14 but if they do, I would recommend them.

+1 for Oxford grips. Zero issues to report after three years of use.

I have the Oxfords run with a variable controller. Excellent. On high, they will cook your hands. Easy to install in the winter and remove in the spring. I plug them into the accessory leads so they shut off when I turn off the bike.

How do the Oxford controls mount to the bike? Does anyone have a picture of it mounted?
The Hot Grips seem like a quality product, but I'd have to invest another $50.00 for a controller.

Yeah, I was kinda' wondering the same thing. :)

I also have the Oxford grips,They work great and been in use for 2 years now with no issue!

I take em off in the spring because I like the BMW grips. I use the oxfords in the winter. It takes about ten minutes? to switch the grips - so I use the BMW's three seasons and the heated grips when the white stuff is trying to get me :D The heat troller is very similar or even the same as one used for heated gear. It came with the grips when I bought them and I like having the variable settings.

I also have the Hotgrips and they heat up great, I just wish they were softer.
