Wow- someone must have bought it and then had zero time.  He certainly spent enough money on it for something never really driven.  I don't get a lot of riding opportunity myself, but even I have 1,000 miles after 6 months!

Totally agree Max, I'm in the same boat, I'm one that doesn't log the miles on my Connie like most on here and even I've put 4k on mine in the past year...

My neighbor has an 09 with only about 500 miles on it. Still hasn't had the 600 mile service yet

Nice find! It might have been a left over. I have ridden 64,000 since May 2009. My brother in law bought a Honda 750 and has gone 1000 miles

I generally don't use my bike for transportation, if I am riding its usually planned and am trying to get away from the daily drudge.  So I don't put a lot of miles on either.  However I put on enough the last two days to realize me and the stock seat and I don't see eye to eye  :o

When I picked up my '08 in April it only had 3100 miles on it.  I know around here (Wisconsin) finding bikes with ridiculously low mileage isn't that uncommon since the the fair weather riders often only get 4 - 5 months in.

And to think I put 2000 miles on mine before I'd had it for a full two weeks... and I didn't really go anywhere per say other than just... around? LoL

How do you guys stay off your bikes? LOL

Ooops, it seems I GREATLY underestimated my mileage.  It is more like 2,300 miles.   And tonight was my first extended ride (100+ miles) at LOW temps.  Most of the ride was 42F with long dips down to 36F.  Thank god for the heated jacket!

My 09 was 1 year old Saturday, I have over 11,600 miles on it and I don't ride but a few times a month.

My 09 is 11 months old, bought in Dec of 2010 as a left over. I am about to turn 15K. I rarely ride to work, once or twice every two weeks but spend a lot of time on mine in the summer (school teacher).

I bought my 2004 cruiser in 2009 with little over 3000 miles on it. I put over 6K on it the same year it was bought.

Some people just buy motorcycles and then never ride them...

Could be an indication that more Harley riders are buying C-14s?  One of the hallmarks of C10 riders was the tremendous mileage they would rack up.  That was what attracted me to Connies in the first place.......not garage queens

My 08 had 3200 miles on it when I picked it up in May.  It had a nice rack and a Leo Vince slip on. It was priced thousands under where it should have beenand had way more accessories thna a casual owner shoudl have bought.

Imagine my surprise when I bump into the previous owner this past Wednesday.  I knew it was for real as he was able to show me every little rock chip or boot rub on "my" bike.   He was riding a 2009 C14. He then proceeds to tell me abotu havign the bolts under th ebiek exchanged for new ones.

So, I had to askwhat was goign on.  He got this sheepish look and explained he has OCD.  It seams he got caught in a rainstorm on my bike and never was satisfied the undercarriage was clean.  So he traded.  Hes also done the same thing with a 4x4 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck.  He was hunting, from a paved road and went to make  a u turn.  One of the wheels went into the dirt.  125.00 at  a coin car was did not clean it well enough. He cant clean it at home or it would foul the driveway.  He was goign to look at new trucks when we were talking.

I thought I got a good deal ,it seems he has no minimum...really? someone should snatch that. I tell everyone that this is BY FAR the best m/c value going right now (in general) seriously not trying to be a homer.

I bought my 08 Connie used in April of this year.  It had 4600 miles on it and was bought new in 09.  I am considering putting it away soon as the temps are rarely getting above 40 any more and I hate riding in the cold but I have 11K on it and can't wait till spring.  I could not believe I bought it as cheap as I did.  This is as much fun as I've ever had with clothes on.

A new 05 Lt...$18000  +++ all taxes and such, miss heated grips and cruise etc. Not near as as a enjoyable "riding bike" though as the connie, but a great ride imho.

The Germans build some nice bikes, but they sure do cost some $$ for sure... I bet that was a comfy one for longer trips!  :chugbeer:

You don't know the half of it, I saw an ad on a bulletin board for my bike and couldn't believe it.  He wanted $7000 for it and I thought there was something wrong with it.  He brought it to me and told me to take it out for a few hours.  I fell in love with it, rode like it was on rails and fast as a scalded cat.  I didn't really even want to buy another bike but told myself if he takes $6500 for it, it's meant to be.  Bought it that day.  Seems he bought a Harley and his old bike wasn't fitting in with the new crowd. ::)

For a mint condition C14 with only 1800 miles on it that is a smokin deal IMO, congrats to the buyer! Not sure how much the seller paid for it brand new but those were some expensive 1800 miles he road...  :(
