They are talking about replacing the throttle tube with a throttle master tube not replacing the bar ends with a throttle meister. There is your difference.Op installed a Throttle Tamer throttle tube. If Ninja is just wanting to install TM it should be done by just rolling about 1" of the grip inboard, as per instructions, to allow for installation.
I want to install the Throttlemaster on my 2010 with factory heated grips but am afraid to try to remove the stock grips for the rework for fear of damaging the stock heating elements...Yes....see this thread.... http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=439.0 (http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=439.0)
Can they be safely removed using an air compressor??
Advise....
Ninja
about 200 hundred. gotta admit...i'm too much of an ape to notice any discernible difference. Not sorry I installed though...I'll see if I soon appreciate more. You use?Yes. I noticed a slight difference in the on/off throttle engagement but the biggest thing I noticed was the smoothness of the actual turning of the throttle tube. The bushings eliminate metal to metal contact and the associated drag.
