Title: Minimalist packing a C14 for a photo shoot
Post by: stevewfl on October 17, 2011, 07:41:55 AM
Here's the bare minimum I've found required and how to pack the C14 to go shoot your bike or a gal and hers

PIC 1
Lenses:
Nikon 24-70mm F/2.8
Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8
Nikon 70-200 F2.8

Camera: D7000

Flashes:  SB-600, Vivitar 285, LED light (for might focusing/painting), Pockwizard remote lighting triggers

Cheap Tripod (who cares if its stolen from back seat), Cheap umbrellas, portable light stands.

Pack this in E55 trunk

Pack this on back seat

Pack this stuff in E55 rear trunk, in leftover room

Still have two panniers open (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif)

The umbrellas fit perfect between the panniers on the back seat, and out of the way of the passenger (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/bigthumb.gif)

Jealous - I'll have an FX cam soon too, waiting for Nikon to announce the upgraded latest and greatest D700.
