Riding with wife today, stopped for gas and attempted to adjust the pre-load on the rear for her 105 lb ass. NOPE. Stuck solid, no movement either direction of the handle.
Be going to the dealer for repair/replacement.
ARGH!
That said, we had a nice 4 hr. ride and killed a tank of fuel. Doing my part to stimulate the economy.

Careful there Barry because an unkind, careless and coarse person might come along and say something like 'Wow, how much does she weigh in total?'. But not me, I would never say anything like that..... Sorry but you kinda' set yourself up for dat one. ;D

My adjuster also seized (this is the second shock) and following the advice that someone else made, I unbolted it from the frame, turned it upside down, and sprayed WD40 into the cap. Problem solved.

I will give that a try.

Removed it, tapped it sorta gently with a breaker bar, and turned the knob HARD. It broke free !
Nice....
