I am getting my PR2s replaced tomorrow with PR3s. Put them on after taking the stock POS off at 7000 miles. I put 11,000 on these front is down to wear bars, rear is beyond that. I ride some twisty but a lot of straight also. I was happy overall.

Jeff, I bet you are 'happy-ER' after you get the 3's put on! ;)
Keep em pumped up to max (42+) and tell me if they grip any less.

Just got done with a set of PR3's. Put about 7500 miles on them. I didn't feel like I got more grip in either wet or dry conditions with the PR3's. Got about the same mileage out of the PR3's as the PR2's.
So... back to the PR2's for me. Not worth the extra cost for the PR3's over the PR2's, when the performance of the tire is almost identical for each with my riding habits.

Hmmmm... I was wondering about that. I went from Storms to PR3's. PR3's far superior but have never tried PR2's. If they perform and wear as well as the the 3's I should probably try those but my instinct is to stay with what works. And so far the PR3's have been outstanding.

Y'all gotta give the Angels a shot. You'll be surprised, nicely I might add ;)
