I just hooked up the full on Muzzy header with dual mufflers on my 2010 C14.
So, I now have my Dale Walker Holeshot slip-on, mid-pipe set up for sale.
The unit can be viewed at Holeshot's web page here: http://www.holeshot.com/ (http://www.holeshot.com/)
I also have photos of my street muffler in black, too. I can email them if you like, but I may try to post them here. Looks the same as Holeshot's page. No scratches, no dents, excellent condition.
True 'bolt on' with added performance, weight saving from the potato launcher OEM exhaust, too. Plus, it sounds terrific. Nice burble at idle, no drone at speed, and really rips at WOT ! You will not be disappointed.
BTW, I got the heat shield to protect the mid-pipe from melting your boot, and a DB Killer ... which reduces the sound if you like. I never used it. Not necessary in my opinion.
Total paid: $520 including shipping.
Sell for: $320 including shipping anywhere in the lower US.

What is the noise level compared to the stock system? And is the noise characteristic more throaty and less whinney than stock?

I don't know the exact db level of the Holeshot, but perhaps it is listed on Dale's web site.
The sound is very throaty at idle and ramps up as you go up the rpm dial. There is no whine. Bike sounds like it should sound.
I think there may be a sound clip on Dale's site, too.

HOLESHOT is SOLD .... SOLD .... SOLD !!

Sound clips don't do it justice. On Dale's site, and using my cell phone, you can hear engine whine....in reality you don't hear it. I love the sound of this exhaust.
