I do not know what part you are describing.
Please look at this link and find the part number.
http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/3/Make/Kawasaki (http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/3/Make/Kawasaki)

You will find the price there.

I assume you mean the starter chain tensioner, correct?

Ron Ayers has 'em for 102.xx but does not ship overseas

Bikebandit.com sells it for 115.xx and DOES ship internationally, using UPS. Watch the fees from UPS, they get nasty. I would suggest calling and talking to a real human being or use live chat to order.  Good Luck.

Ah thats the alternator chain tensioner. I  just replaced mine on my 86.  It would bang against the clutch basket when It was being started

I read http://zrxoa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=110425 (http://zrxoa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=110425) and was surprised to hear about the tensioner. Do Connies have the same problem? Except for a water pump bearing failure at 25k, mines been bullet proof. Where's the wood to knock on?

It does seem like the Bike Bandit is a bandit. Glad you were able to get hooked up elsewhere.

IMO, when the tensioner is hitting it's cus the chain needs to be replaced. HTH, Steve

I replaced the chain also, so you very well be correct. The noise went away either way.

Steve, at what mileage is this happening? Do all Connies have it? What's the sound?
