Title: KUDOS TO OHLINS USA

about a year ago i purchased an Ohlins shock for ky 09 connie.After a spring change, handled by Ohlins USA for no charge,I enjoyed the ride and superior handling. About 2 months ago i noticed the damping seemed to be fading.I discovered an oil leak from the top of the shock.I contacted Ohlins USA and was forwarded to Gary, the tech advisor, who asked me to send the shock to him. Gary and his techs discovered a never before seen failure in the shock barrel.As this was a first time occurence they had no part available to repair the shock,so they ordered one from Sweden.after about two weeks  I contacted Gary for an update,he said he would check into it and call back,as he did in about an hour.He said that Sweden couldn't send the part for about a month.I told Gary i was somewhat disappointed as i am leaving next monday on a trip to colo.He said this was all taking too long and he was going to try to remedy it immediately.He called this am and informed me he had obtained a brand new shock and would have it to me this friday,in time for my trip.Anything mechanical can have a failure,but if a company stands behind their product and goes the extra mile to insure customer satisfaction you can't ask for any more.Thank YOU Gary and Ohlins USA for your service.I will enjoy getting the Ohlins ride and handling back. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;) ;) ;) ;)

If you're ever in their neighborhood in NC, stop in there and you'll be given the suspension tour of your life and meet all the guys.

I forgot to note that all this was done at no charge under warranty...GREAT PEOPLE... :)

Thanks for the note Steve.  I just  looked up where they are and I've passed by there a million times on my way to my folks.  I'm gonna have to take a detour next time I head down there.
