Found this video on fixing a broken tab and thought it might help some one
Delboy's Garage, Plastic Welding panel lug repair. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7GRNvPSf7k#ws)

That was a pretty good film really. I'll have to keep it in mind should I need to do a plastic repair. Adding a metal component to the job was pretty clever.

I wished I saw this video before I invested $$ buying the powder and solvent to fix a broken tab on my Triumph. This appears to be a lot easier than fabricating using the other method. Harbor Freight sells 3 different types of electric plastic welder, ranging from $14-$69. With a 20% coupon. you get a sweet deal.

Great tips there. Could have used it a few years ago with my TLR.

Very clever.

Awesome. Time to replace my broken soldering iron.
