That was a pretty good film really.  I'll have to keep it in mind should I need to do a plastic repair.  Adding a metal component to the job was pretty clever.

I wished I saw this video before I invested $$ buying the powder and solvent to fix a broken tab on my Triumph.  This appears to be a lot easier than fabricating using the other method.  Harbor Freight sells 3 different types of electric plastic welder, ranging from $14-$69.  With a 20% coupon. you get a sweet deal.
