I was interested until I read on the website that it is water resistant and not waterproof, that was the deal breaker for me.

You looking for full submersion?  Here's what I read on their website:

"Super Tough

The places we play are rough, raw and dirty, which is why all Contour cameras are made to withstand run-ins with everything from caked mud and kicked-up sand to raging mountain storms. The burly aluminum body withstands shakes, rattles and rolls while a water-resistant design sheds all types of precip, moisture and spray. For full submersion sports, such as surf or wake, the ContourHD aftermarket waterproof case provides total dryness up to ten meters beneath the surface."

Hmmm, interesting. Waterproof case available. My biggest concern was having it on my bike during a huge rain storm. I have not had good luck with anything that says water resistant and even some products that claim waterproof!
I will give it some more thought.

Yeah...don't know how much video I'm going to do in a downpour...I don't even have the deep-water air intake kit on my C10!

Not at all on the Concours, the need for waterproof would be for the dirtbike and my boat.
