And you become the second member of the 6 figure club! Just 16 days shy of my 4th anniversary date with the big girl. ;D

This post is almost a week late though. I turned the big 100k last Sunday, July 17th, on a group ride through the Santa Cruz mountains.
Don't really have anything to report about it though. The bike just keeps on going, and going, and going. But I'll address the normal questions...
The only warranty claims so far have been the melty dash, way back when it was still below 10k miles, and the glove box not opening properly. (the new lid is also currently broken, so that will be a second one for that. And a close look at my pics will show a melted speedo needle as well)
I've never had a KiPass failure, but I have had a battery failure.
The brake rotors are still the originals, and I'm about to install my 4th set of front pads. (OEM. I tried EBC's, but I like the initial bite of the stockers better)
I replaced the head bearings with tapered rollers at 65k, and that solved the slight "clicking" front end that I left until that point because I felt no pressing NEED to replace/check/fix it earlier.
The front bevel gear drive is the only 'major' part that's been replaced. That was only changed because Mama Kawi wanted to peek at a few higher milage units.
I'm currently running a Pilot POWER 2CT in front, and a Pilot ROAD 3 on the rear. I like the combo, but I'm also VERY easy on my front tire which is why I get tolerable milage from it. (about 8-10k)

Feel free to ask anything else, but it's been quite drama free.

I was wondering if you were going to post again. I had an 08 for 18 months and put 44,000 miles on it it 18 months. I was trying to hit 100,000 miles in 3 years, but I crashed it in November.
I have a 2010 I'm running now since January. I've put over 12,000 miles on it. I am not riding nearly as far to work as I did on the 08.
Your bike looks fantastic for having 100000 miles on it. Enjoy the next 100,000 miles. Is it still covered under an extended warranty? And I don't need to ask what your favorite accessory is. She fits it perfectly!
My older posts were all srtchallenger. I changed it to scaffolder. It fits better.

I cannot imagine seeing 100k on a motorcycle. Congrats.

  Mine is 95,000 short of the goal, but maybe someday.  The bikes ok too.

Congrats and thanks for posting about this. Very impressive.

My bike is at 71K although I still expect to get to 100K before the extended warranty is up; my bike is four years old in two days.

Great accomplishment charles r! Did you have to change valve shims at every check, or did it reach a point and stay steady?

There is a guy from San Diego who passed 100K on his C-14 some time ago.

A while back Kawasaki was looking for high mileage C-14s; they wanted the bevel gear assemblies from a few high mileage bikes to see how they were wearing in the field (bevel gears are the most highly stressed parts in the drive train and C-14s have a new design bevel gear assembly). At that time, I believe Charles had the second highest mileage C-14 they had found with the guy in San Diego (his handle was something like Con nundrum on the old forum) having the most miles. My bike came in third and Jerry (JaminJere) came in fourth as I remember. It seems like we are all still in order and still racking the mileage up fairly fast.

Yeah, I was about 4k shy when Conundrum  (I think John was his name) reached 100K. And it's good to hear that the majority of the high milers are still going. Also nice to hear you're still with us SRT, even if do get to ride the new fancy schmancy.  8) ;D

I've only had shims changed twice. We changed a few at 15k, and while we noted they moved around a bit over the miles, we didn't change any until 75k. Nothing changed since.

I do have the extended warranty. My original goal, as we early owners were noting the melty dash bits and flaky glove boxes, was to achieve 100k before the 3rd year... and then get something silly warrantied, just because it's funny to see 100K and warrantied in the same sentence.

Sadly, neither the young lady, or the back yard, are mine to play in.  ;)  (I thank her husband for the loan. Both are avid riders I met at a party, at that location)
Well, at least I still get to ride the bike. :thumbs:

Not much fancier than the 08. Heated grips are awesome, but the linked brakes are more annoying than useful. IMHO. Traction Control and ABS are advantages. But I loved every one of the 44,000 miles I racked up on the 2008. As much as the 12,000 I run on the 2010. I miss the silver, faster one. I still remember the tow truck (from the insurance company) dragging the bike on it's side onto the flatbed. So sad.
