Ok guys short and easy, we bought a bunch at a motorbike auction in ocean side.......
Got a great deal... never ran a 10/60 full synthetic oil, always conventional....
Anyone see any problem w switching?
Anyone ever have a problem going from 1 type to the other???
Yes an oil thread, but just a short question.. the trip home from San Diego to pa will be different as I rode out w a friend, he ran out of time, and I will be coming back alone as he flew home....
Thanks
Dan

HAHA! That is correct. There at least 100 of us just sitting around having tea just waiting for an opportunity answer a post asap. You caught us taking a long break. Sorry.
I guess I do not get my raise now.

10/60? Is that a typo?
-
10-60 is being recommended by some companies now due t heat generated by EPA mandated lean a/f ratios.

I feel dumb. i didn't even know they made oil with such a wide range. :o

Well, the first number is how thick the oil can become when really cold, so 10 is good for that, and the second number is how thin the oil can be when it gets quite hot. So you have oil that is never thicker than cold 10 weight, and never thinner than hot 60 weight. Sounds like a fine plan to me.
