Title: Battery For Rear TPS
Post by: woodwickcandles on July 13, 2011, 07:35:22 AM: Warning message on front dash says battery sensor low for rear TPS. I am about to change to Michelin Pilot Road 3 so this would be a great time to change battery.

Does anyone know if this is some type of "off the shelf" battery or something I need to order from dealer $$$...

There was a "how to" on the other forum and I can't find the thread that showed the process. I think that Murph is also doing a TPS exchange where you send in your dead one and he sends you another back. It might also be that he puts in a new battery and sends you your orignal one back. Not sure, once again this was all on the old forum and I haven't had good luck searching through the pre-crash threads.

And if they do, have them mount the new tire for free while they're at it. You can offer to pay them to balance it as incentive.
